Nease Senior Davis Named Soccer All-American

ST. AUGUSTINE, FLA. – Allen D. Nease's standout defender, Palmer Davis, a four year starter, was named a National Soccer Coaches Association of America Scholar All-American last week.

Davis earned a spot on the NSCAA Scholar All-American third team to cap his final season at Nease High.

He previously was named to the St. Augustine Record's first team, while being named to the Florida Times Union's third team in only his freshman year.

Davis has also verbally committed to Wake Forest after his strong 2006 campaign which has yet to end, as Nease (13-2-2) takes on undefeated Fernandina Beach (13-0-1) Wednesday at Nease.

As a senior, Davis tied for the team lead in points with 14 on six goals and two assists. He finished his career with 20 goals, placing him into a tie for fifth all-time in school history.

Davis has started all 17 games for NHS this season, playing both midfield and defense to help Nease earn the #1 seed in district play. He has led Nease to its best start since the 2003 campaign, which ended with a loss in the State Championship game.

he has only 20 goals in his career. i know defenseman who have had 10 goals in a year. also notice that it is a scholar all-american and not a athletic all-american

So this Palmer campaign has just been a big disinformation ploy and you finally messed up. Reading between the lines it's easy to see that you meant Queen of high school soccer. How long has Palmer been dating Tebow? I can't wait to go to the game. They must make such a cute couple. Will Palmer be going with short skirt and low cut top or will he opt for the tight sweater with capri pants and high heels? If Palmer ends up with Man United, will Tebow feel threatened by Wayne Rooney? Did Palmer fire Toeblow or did they just break up?
