if a player signs with a school before they name a new head coach, then that player needs their heads examined. That goes against all advice that is given during the recruitment process.

Don't think its fair to the players. Maybe those schools are communicating ahead of signing day. New coach=different style and different type of player. Uncomfortable for all involved.

Most players do. But it is hard not to factor the coach in the decision process, after all the players should be going to a program that wants them and shows interest. that comes from the coach and staff.

As noted above, new coaches means new style, preferences etc. Even the existing roster is not safe with a new staff coming on board. Could be a lot of Fresh and Sophs in uncomfortable positions.
