Until Wake Forest comes to town on 9/16. Katie "Stinger" Stengel brings her U20 World Cup talent to Tally and the Noles are going down.

Other than the benefactors of Title IX, no one else gives a hoot about women's college soccer.

Although I am a huge Katie Stengel fan I guess you have not seen FSU play this year. Even Katie will have a tough time against FSU . Katie/Wake Forest will have to get its credentials from a different game . FSU is to strong to beat Katie or not. You need to see them to beliver them (FSU).

Well then, I guess it's a good thing there are many "benefactors[sic]" of Title IX....too bad you are living proof that there are many who are not "benefactors" of a good education.

This thread's been on TS for a week. Less than a dozen posts. So much for interest in women's collegiate soccer.

Sorry, I have been too busy watching the U-20 Women's World Cup. In fact the USA U-20 WNT won. The keeper who grew up playing for Clearwater was outstanding. It was great to watch after seeing the full team get the gold at the Olympics and and so soon after they made it to the final in the full Women's World Cup last year.... uhhh I noticed that the men's team really hasn't made it out of group play the last few tournaments. And I noticed the men's side collapsed vs. Jamaica, a team that had never beaten them. They look like they don't have much chance to get out of group play again. Any hope for improvement there?

It will be a great game this Sunday. I am going to watch it on ESPN3. Wake Forest also has one of the best Goalies in college AND Rachel Nuzzolese is healthy again to balance out the attack up top. Both teams are loaded and it should be a hell of a game. Every girl that dreams of playing D1 ball should be glued to her moniter Sunday afternoon. This is how you do it ladies.

The sad part is that so many gator players will not get a chance to
play in the game. Such a large roster and only play 13 or 14 players

                            Really?!

"Such a large roster and only play 13 or 14 players..." Don't know why you need to lie-- obviously you have an axe to grind.

First, you state that UF has "such a large roster." They have 30 players, and that certainly is not unusually large for women's D1 teams at this time. Second, you state that UF only plays 13 or 14 players. That's patently false-- this season so far they have averaged playing 17 players per game.

College soccer's a joke...17 players per game? Play like the pros - 3 subs per match.
