They played twice last year and Sunrise won easily 3-0 in regionals

Does FC Florida even have a 2000 team? They gave up their spot in the SRPL:

There is a FC team listed in the U16s but that is a 2001 team. Based on the SRPL, there are 3 teams in the Premier Division. Sunrise returns from last year. Team Boca got promoted from 1st Division and Space Coast is new based on State Cup win (they got to skip right over 1st Div).

Other than ECNL teams, seems pretty clear to me that those 3 are the top 2000 teams, and in that order for now.

Weston needed a merger with Davie and discovery players from FC Florida because they wont stand a chance in ECNL by themselves. It would have been another Boca United nightmare. Its good that they want the talent from elsewhere but doesn't say much of what they actually produce at Weston.
