Hey Snowflakes. Please watch your "truth in reporting" leader Anderson Cooper. This is the most hilarious defensive pot shot at Don Jr. he could muster. I couldn't stop smirking as I watched. The viral videos on him really got under his skin.

Oh and they shouldn't be paying taxes in the first place, that is just for the little people. Further, there should be no scrutiny of their previous record and their lawyers should see to it that the jury of their peers (all white frat boys) will be able to render the appropriate innocent judgement.
Ahh... Making America Great Again... now let's send the Statue of Liberty back to France ... we can do without such depictions of immigrant women...
Sounds like the precise thinking that happened in the Duke lacrosse case.

But this time the "accused" is a ridiculously accomplished judge who has been in a public job for 20 years. No record of even a hint of wrongdoing or bad behavior. Nothing.

But a woman with left political leanings comes out of the woodwork at the last minute. This is a last gasp. She is having trouble remembering basic details. Such as the year it happened. 36 years ago. Impossible to confirm nor deny. How convenient.

Delay tactic plain and simple. Delay. Resist. Obstruct.

And where were the Democratic Senators yesterday ? Apparently, there aren't any real problems affecting Americans to work on. So Chuck Schumer was on " The View " going on and on that" he believes her, she is believable " !
Blumenthal was on MSNBC, and after a talking head said " We have to stop this. We have to stop this appointment . Why are we giving this President so much power ? "
He agreed with her ! Why he didn't tell her that the Constitution gives the POTUS the power to do this ? Nothing is being done outside what the Constitution says in this appointment by the POTUS .
What is being done is hearing an accusation that for any other American, The Judicial System is where it would be heard. Not the Legislative Branch. It isn't a Court of Law.

She is accusing him of a crime. Is this now where we want accusations regarding criminal or civil grievances to be heard ? Regardless of the point that he is a SCOTUS candidate , there is nothing in the Constitution that would remove this matter from the Judicial System. Nothing there to say any votes on his confirmation should be delayed.

Why hasn't she met with a Prosecutor where the alleged assault took place ? Why hasn't she filed a Civil Suit ? If she can't meet the standards for that, why is she given an audience in Congress ?

Isn't there a statute of limitations on sexual assaults? This is nothing new, we have seen this before with Anita Hill and Clarence Thomas. Funny how these two heinous crimes are conveniently brought to light well after the statute of limitations and shortly before a major occurrence of a political appointment. Where is due process here?

Cooper claims he just wanted to stay "off the road, out of the way of emergency workers". Right. So he throws on waders, gets into water while his cameraman takes the high ground to get the shot. Please. Embarassing.

Lots of men blaming a possible victim. Unless you've been a victim of sexual assault stfu. You have no idea how you'd react. She has risked a great deal coming forward. Also, just because a person hasn't had other accusations to date doesn't mean this particular accusation isn't true. There is no need to rush his confirmation. This is a life time appointment. Let's get it right. Give both sides a chance to present their stories.

Funny how now those 60 women who attested to his character in HS (he went to an all boys school BTW so how many girls really knee him well?) now aren't sticking with their support. The friend who was in the room wrote at length about what a party school it was.

You miss the point. The reason there are Statutes of Limitations is because over time, it gets harder and harder to verify accusations. Due Process implies innocence until PROVEN guilty in a court of law. Not in the Senate, not for allegations that can't stand up in the Judicial System. The Democrats have made a mockery of the questioning and the hearings, and now they are continuing with their high jacking of the confirmation vote.

Correct , let's get it right. Where it should be heard. By the standards that every American has to deal with. Where is the Civil Suit? Where are the criminal charges by Police or a prosecutor ? Instead, the Democrats flock to the MSM and go on and on with nonsense.

Why are we paying Senator Blumenthal to be a regular on MSNBC ?

Yes, this would be considered a misdemeanor sexual offense. 1 year statue of limitations in Maryland. She is 35 years late.

It's just not fair!!! It's time to get serious and start a petition.

Snowjob -- you need to read more widely...(or put your brain in gear before typing) that is exactly what Leona Helmsley said before doing time for tax evasion ... a Republican ... the Queen of Mean.. clearly a role model for you....

Hey Snowflakes, what happened to the liberal economic doom predictions if US got into trade war with China? US adds tariffs on another 200B, China retaliates with tariffs on 65B. Next step, US to add tariffs on an additional 250B, China ran out already.

US markets love it, up on the news nearing all time high. China markets down 25% from 2018 peak.

                          Thanks Trump!

SHENZHEN, China—There is an unintended consequence of the White House’s trade battle with China: Companies in the Pearl River Delta, the center of China’s manufacturing might, are accelerating toward making higher-quality products to compete against American goods.

So before they didn't want to make high quality products but now all of a sudden do? Is this some sort of new liberal economic theory?

That's exactly what they should have been doing in the first place. That's what a free market is... let the best competitor win. Bring it on.
