If you think the ECNL part of the club is messed up take a look around at the rest of the club teams. Teams overloaded and having D1 players having to guest on D3 or lower level teams just to keep parents happy. And not the ones that they should be. Boys teams a total after thought. No trainers coming to oversee practices or forbid running a session. Looks like a perfect business model of what not to do.

And let's not forget this team wouldn't even be here at all if it had not been for her. And the club repays her by replacing her with people the players and parents didn't even want.
Let's see a players daddy, a son brought in by a daddy boss, and sons best friend. What's insane about all this is that the board allowed it to happen. Oh ya let's not forget some board members were fired too and replaced by people put in place to do whatever these jerks want.
it's all dirty right from the top down.

As this team has aged it has lost its ability to dominate. That happens because soccer teams at the older age groups cant win with sheer athleticism. To win soccer games at the older age groups you need to have a team of good athletes but most importantly they have to be superior technically and tactically. VI's team and players are ALL behind technically AND tactically. There are some players that when they first touch the ball it is so far out in front of them that they just lose it to the other team. They do not understand how to make runs and attack a defense as a team (and yes you dont just boot the ball over the defense and let your one fast girl run onto it). The girls from VI team that still are on the team are technically horrible compared to their peers and hopefully now they have been caught in time and can get the instruction they desperately need. I have already seen the one forward making combination passes(what a concept). The reason #4 is so successful and so good is because she is technically and tactically ADVANCED. She is not a better pure athlete then VI's forward but she was trained right. The funny thing about all this is you have no clue how much damage VI did to the development of those kids and how much talent was wasted.

The parents will never recognize the damage because all they see is that VI won at state cup at u13 when it really doesn't matter. They are more concerned with wins no matter how it happens without development.

We are already much better off then we were last year. What is a mess about that? If that is the case we are messing up all the way to the top of the conference lol. Give it a rest and come back when the data actually supports your rhetoric!!!!!!

WFF/Brandon developed NOTHING at that age group and had NOTHING at that age group. They had to bring in VI's team to compete. And then they bring in other girls from all around to be able to compete in ECNL. Look at the first year of NPL, Brandon had to play up their U13G up because they did not have a team. Brandon/WFF had NOTHING, developed NOTHING.

If you want to get into a discussion of what Brandon has developed as if that makes any difference when you are trying to compare VI to Brandon/WFF. The U19 team developed ONLY at Brandon went to 4 SC championships in a row. The U15s are almost primarily developed at Brandon as well as the U14s. The U18s were developed at WFF primarily and added 2 Brandon players. It is definitely a FACT that players come from other clubs who were developed elsewhere to play at WFF but they are WFF/Brandon players if they are signed with the club just as some Lakeland girls travel to BR to play U16 there as do players that travel to play with the U16 TBU team. But let us get one thing clear. VI's team was great when it was younger because they were all great athletes. They have regressed over the years and the reason for it is because they were NEVER developed as soccer players. Like it or not its the truth. The question is what is better for that team going forward? VI or the current coaching staff? Certainly not VI, that team needs technical/tactical soccer training like no other. I am not trying to sit back and hammer VI. She is a great person with a big heart and truly cares about the kids. There is a huge difference between having those attributes and preparing these kids to be best equipped to play soccer.

There is no way to tell without seeing what happens. This has been my stance on the matter. Whether we like it, dont like it, or are accepting it as is....it will not change so why not bond together and move forward? In 2-3 years we will all know the results. If the results are not good then BL and the coaches he picked will be packing their bags.
