We had to find a home for our 3rd and 4th tier teams, a reliable league.

blablabla...they want games against former DA teams who joined ECNL. MLS youth leagues in their region are hard to find. Very simple.

I was mocking your dumb statement, you do not know what we are doing but yet here you are talking about us. Just stop trying to bash everything, go play in your league and be happy.

We carry 35-40 players per age group. Our top teams/players will continue to play in the MLS league, and our reserve players will play ECNL.

FL teams thanking their lucky stars they are no longer in same ECNL conference with all these Atlanta teams. Would get eaten alive. Already did by the original four...three additional teams all dropping down from DA would've made for a lot of long drives back from the ATL.

The move is because of travel and costs during these times. You will see allot more mls teams do the same thing.

It is my understanding that all age groups for AU will compete in both leagues except for the U15s & U17s that will only compete in the MLS League.

Florida can't play soccer! Why is that anyway? Why do our kids chase the ball, leave there position to do it? Why does every kid here try to dribble 3 kids at a time? Why do the coaches do nothing about it? Why cant kids in the DA in florida stop a ball?

You can't have a 20 team league so had to break it up. Travel costs going down will be a result but wasn't the driving factor.

I think it has more to do with the MLS League not being able to get its act together quickly. Not so much for Atlanta United but for other clubs. With no DA those clubs needed to be able to tell current and prospective players what the plan was before tryouts.

Still surprised none of the FL DA clubs didn't join ECNL like those in GA and TN. As far as I know Armada, Orlando, Tampa Bay, West FL, USA, Chargers, Rush, SFFA, Inter Miami, Weston and IMG still hanging on to the MLS Youth League.

Florida sheep! IMg lol WFF lol armada lol. How in the hell ? Our mls academies can’t get better playing that. FYI cost is the driving factor mls clubs are hurting big time you will see 3-4 others do the same thing in other parts of the country.

"We" as if Atlanta United parents regularly go on Florida's TS board.
