FL teams thanking their lucky stars they are no longer in same ECNL conference with all these Atlanta teams. Would get eaten alive. Already did by the original four...three additional teams all dropping down from DA would've made for a lot of long drives back from the ATL.

I think it has more to do with the MLS League not being able to get its act together quickly. Not so much for Atlanta United but for other clubs. With no DA those clubs needed to be able to tell current and prospective players what the plan was before tryouts.
Still surprised none of the FL DA clubs didn't join ECNL like those in GA and TN. As far as I know Armada, Orlando, Tampa Bay, West FL, USA, Chargers, Rush, SFFA, Inter Miami, Weston and IMG still hanging on to the MLS Youth League.
