Daily in King County has almost doubled over the past couple weeks, and they’ve rolled out new testing locations. The number of cases has spiked, but hospitalizations and deaths haven’t. And the % of tests that were positive has been in the 2-4% range most days, which is pretty good and much lower than back in March/April. So while the spike is yet another reason for concern and to be vigilant about wearing masks and complying with phase 2 guidelines, it doesn’t seem it is yet a reason to panic or roll back to phase 1.

Wonder what led XF to shut down altogether. One point of the small groups is to allow everyone else to continue if there’s a need to isolate a group.

Would expect that they had too many of their population testing positive vs what would be considered “normal”

XF has already ran into trouble with King County Parks for disregarding social distancing rules. Two weeks sounds like a punishment to me.

Can anyone confirm? If that is correct, don’t you think some public info about it would be published? Any letter to parents explaining?

No. It just happened to be that a large number of a certain group of kids tested positive unrelated to soccer, where they had gathered.

Parents and kids should of held up protest signs during practice....social distance rules dont apply apparently.
