No governor "killed" any people. COVID-19 did. It is a virus … no one can stop it and no one knows what to do really .. not Cuomo, not Fauci, not Biden, not Trump or DeSantis. People like to go on the news and tell you they know what they are doing but don't be stupid, they don't have the slightest idea. They all just want the fame and their name to go down in history. Meanwhile the everyday folks just suffer and die quietly. But this is nothing new … have you ever opened any history books? My guess is you have not! There have been many pandemics before and millions have died … we just didn't hear about them like we do today. Guess what, if you were born in a different part of the world you would have a big chance of dying by bombings, hunger or simple diseases that we can easily cure today. This is life and no one causes it … it just happens. It sucks when you are the one suffering … I get it. But blaming your misfortune on others is just stupid.
For the virus to "go away" we need either herd immunity or a reliable vaccine. Guess what … for herd immunity about 80% of the population of Earth will have to get the disease and develop antibodies. Flattening the curve, masking up and protecting ourselves from getting the disease will only prolong the inevitable … you will die before the virus will. We cannot outwait this thing. We need to quarantine the ones at risk and let everyone else move on and live life.

Wake up people, COVID is here and no one can make it go away … no matter what they tell you. It will die off when it has run it's course. People do not have the power to control these things. Do you think I am irrational because I believe that no matter what we do the same number of people will have to get the disease and might die? Our efforts are futile. Do you think your grandparents were stupid when they put all the cousins and neighbor kids in the bed with the kid who had chicken pox? They knew the simple fact … you need to go through it and build immunity. The only thing we can control it the time frame this happens. If we all get sick at the same time we might run out of hospital beds but we will be through this fast. If we flatten the curve we help the healthcare system but elongate the course of the disease. So if you all hide behind your walls and your masks we might have COVID for the next 3 years. Are you ready for that? Do you really think I am irrational because I think the only people quarantined and locked in should be the ones at risk? Think harder

Yes, we'll get through this fast - and that's because a ton of people will die because of a lack of hospital beds - is that you're advocating?
Just so you can get back to work at Wendy's quicker?

As we have seen in the last 3 months we can flatten the curve real nice but as soon as we ease up it will spike again. So you propose we stay locked in for how long? Enlighten me please? We all need to be vigilant and adapt ways to be careful but we need to get back to normal life and the sooner the better. Because every day locked in and shut down is every day closer to grim economical consequences for a long-long time to come. You know I use my BS in Economics degree every day at my job at Wendy's so I am sharp about these things <wink wink>
