I can't find his name on much on their website. Curious what happened.

He is/was probably the best coach in Jax. That’s a huge loss for Clay.

He had some success starting up Clay GDA a few years back assembling some elite talent and poaching (mostly from Armada) for his older teams. As those team cycled through and aged out, the younger Clay GDA teams were/are pretty piss poor with low standards. The younger/mid age grouping were worse than FESA and JFC ECNL and that is saying something (not good). Though, this is naturally where Clay's top girls teams fit in given the smaller market size. Worse than FESA and JFC A teams but better than their B teams. Something similar happened with Pickett at FESA. Without poaching/recruiting elite talent, you find out who the great coaches really are. LT and MP and gone from club ball now and the girls side in the northeast florida club market are pretty lame.

Clay is dead without him. He was a very strong coach, and now they are doomed.

Look for them to merge with JFC or FESA in some capacity. They will struggle mightily in gal this year. Worst than last year so that says a lot.

He has retired. He has become irrelevant these past few years. It was time.
