FC Bucks 2006 ECNL - Girls

This all just shows how little everyone understands the big picture at FCBucks. Prediction, based off of the last few years, when your daughter’s team travels up to play FSA and CFC and you only have 10 kids, and can’t borrow players from the older team or NPL, because they don’t have enough kids either, you will then start to understand. When your daughter comes home from practice and tells you it was a little boring because we only had 7 girls show up, and then that becomes the norm for basically your entire U17 and U18/19 years, you will understand these issues surrounding FC Bucks. It’s not normal to play ECNL and not have your coach showing up, or having a Dad fill in. It’s not normal to have low player attendance at a U14 practice. BTW, they older teams that had player issues the past few years, they all started off as strong teams, stronger than the 06 team. Those teams were best in EPA price to hitting the ECNL and then they started failing because of poor club management. The 06 team is on shaky grounds now, so it should be really interesting when they get to U16. Again, wait until you show up at the fields in Boston, on a cold crap day, getting crushed by Stars FC, and not having enough players, only to have to do it again the next day vs. Scorpions, without enough kids and a Dad coaching on the sidelines. Oh, and $500.00 on hotels, traffic and an entire weekend wasted. Don’t believe me ask the girls on the 02 team or 00 and 99 teams. This is your future!

Agreed excellent post. And it is the future for this team if people don’t speak up. And the other bucks teams didn’t have an over 300 page thread on all the problems with the team or a conflicted dad coach and they still had issues. Good luck to the 06 ECNL girls team because right now this team is not a very attractive one.

Absent changes to coaches and club leadership you are going to have a tough couple of years. I’m pretty sure no future players are going to want to come to a team with an unqualified, conflicted dad and a un communicative, checked out head coach . ECNL hangs its hat on college exposure. But coaches contacts and communication skills are also very important for college recruiting - can’t imagine these two coaches who can’t keep to a regular practice schedule being able to handle the college recruiting.

Or better yet, maybe a college coach shows some interests in a player. College coach writes RF. RF asks BB to respond. BB responds by attempting to showcase his own kid instead. Don't think for a second this won't happen and this is beyond BB.

Best part is, maybe you will pick up on a slight shift in playing time for your own kid when this happens, but more than likely when this does happen, you will never even know about it. Perhaps you will get a thank you card in the mail from BB for contributing to his daughter's college fund.

What a bunch of nonsense you fools are writing, if the club was really struggling across all levels you would have threads such a the below at many more age groups than 06, I see nothing about the 05, 04 etc...leads me to believe the club is in great shape and the 06 thread is just bs by a bunch of losers that want to stir up trouble.

Did you check these other teams records on the ecnl site. How about their roster sizes? One thing going for other FC bucks teams that is better than this 06 team is these other teams have a coaches that shows up and no unqualified dad coach mucking things up.

Is this dad coach quitting at end of season? I cannot imagine anyone coming to this team if they knew he was coaching. Is this transparent to prospective families before hand?

Deflect, defend, dodge, name call .... but never a substantive refutation of the complaints.

Fact: ONE FC Bucks team made the ECNL playoffs last year - 2003 - and that was at the last possible minute during their last game on a last minute goal they scored. It was the lowest bracket of the ECNL playoffs.

Fact: FC bucks is one of the lowest ranked clubs in the entire ECNL.

So tell me again how well the club and it’s teams are doing?
