Coaches have not even been cleared by USSF and OC made the move without approval
Better to do and not ask for approval. Do not think USSF would be happy about losing the MLS affiliation. There are some things you hold onto no matter what.
MV Coaches (other than Academy Director) do not have required USSF B License.
Also:
-- MV requiring players to sign new "commitment" form midseason
-- MV is claiming the right to demote players from Full Time to Developmental Player status -- not allowed per USSF roster rules.
-- MV is requiring players to submit their report cards and maintain min 2.5 GPA or go on "performance improvement plan" monitored by MV
-- MV is dictating player hair length and clean shaven rules (LOL)
All this is bs high school stuff and contrary to USSF DA model. Someone should tell USSF higher-ups about this . . .
this minutia may be against the rules, but give me a break. if these trivial complaints (other than the B licensure ) are the biggest issue at MV than all is well.
most of those bullet points sound like great rules

Besides Potempa, KV has A License, RP has A license and pretty sure TE has A license, so take your saltiness some other program that will cut your kid as well

the coach who was with U15 in Atlanta this weekend was Carlos Pedraza. which they proudly posted on their Instagram page... and from SIMA website:
"Carlos holds a USSF “E” coaching license and a Bachelor’s Degree in Administration and Business from the Universidad Santa Maria and is a S.I.M.A Staff Member working across all levels of the program to develop our student athletes technically, tactically, physically & socially for a life in elite sport"
they left a few DA players at home and took MV players instead. apparently screamed at boys most of game. played kids out of their position and many DA kids came away with the desire to look at other playing "options"...
