    Congratulations

After many years of hopeful reading and discourse, the recent lack of sincere interest in the WC has confirmed my worst fear: that, as a state with thousands of kids playing and as a country, we (you) have absolutely no chance of moving forward the culture of soccer.
Every major thread is dedicated to either the destruction or bad mouthing of rival clubs and leagues, most with no basis in fact whatsoever. This wholesale denigration has replaced any constructive discussion toward furthering either the fan base or the game itself. You can’t even have a lively dialogue regarding positive training tactics. What do your kids hear in the car?
Congratulations to the founders of T/S as they have managed to provide an outlet for the ignorant and angry whose sole focus is why their kid is not as good as they think they should be and are willing to scorch all who try to help, be it coach or club.
Soccer is and always has been the World’s game, except here, where we (you) have managed to turn a thing of beauty into an ugly, selfish creation with no resemblance to the original and make it all about you.

Here’s my advice, and I mean this sincerely. Don’t come on TS. Go watch your kids play and enjoy every minute.

Because Massachusetts is such a powerhouse, right?

Anyone who knows how to start a new thread is probably guilty of the things he chastises others for.

You sure came to the right thread. Meet Mr. OP. He was so different because his post was so positive.

Make everyone who wants to posts create a user name. That is what the Socal site does. People might take more ownership in what they say and how they represent themselves instead of hiding behind an anonymous post. We might start to get better exchange of information for families trying to navigate the youth soccer world at different ages.

Because usernames will tell us who they are?

Not the poster but with identification, in theory, people won't post as frequently. Bullsh*ters will get called out for their bullsh*t. Again, it's a theory. But didn't they try a registered forum here before and it didn't go anywhere? I think once something is out of the gate it's very hard to rein back in

No, you can track their various posts and get a feel for who they are.
                    You don’t need personal names

It was attempted on this site a few years ago as a trial, but no one posted. People would ultimately just avoid this site. You want to track posts, go to BigSoccer. Much better discussion there anyhow.
