They actually do lately. Premier teams, including the preacademey teams are bottom dwellers this season. The clubs infatuation with bringing new players in every May rather than properly training their own has caught up with them. 08 is a mediocre age, the other teams are fine. end of story. we will be adding some boca kids to our 06 academy, sending some of our academy kids down, plus we are scheduled to add three kids from west pines. our 06 pre will be fine.
please remember, our Pre-academy name can easily be labeled "black" we chose the name pre-academy because they are given the same curriculum as academy, practice the same number of days and have access to better coaching.Comment

It is easy to remember because your labeled, “Black,” loses badly a lot at the 06 and 07 years. Don’t know about 07, and below that age group is baby soccer. And your pres just are not up to par. Just go to the divisions standings and see for yourself or look at tournament results- both are consistent and they show widespread failure. That failure is not the fault of the kids...it is of the club and their focus on recruiting and replacement rather than on proper training of the players they were excited about in the previous May series of “recruit and replace.”Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

What if the club is mandate to identify talent and bring it onboard, then can you shut the f up then. if that is part of their mission statement. then they are doing exactly what they are supposed to do. then teams like deportivo, juventus, west pines, miramar, and others serve as minor leagues to weston. that model seems to be working just fine, when they find kids that belong on their academy teams, they go out and contact them. this will continue, it just wont be weston doing it. it will be InterMiamiComment

That is a direct result of the great coaching that guy speaks of having access to...access to good coaching can be found via Mirco’s weekly supplemental training sessions. And kids don’t have to play for the club to have that good coaching. Unfortunately, Mirco can’t be everywhere. The other kids seriously suffer at the direction of Hefty.Comment

Are you conceding that Weston is unable, or even interested, in coaching and developing the players they recruit? If that is the case, why even paid coaches? what do you think happens in Rome for example? Smaller/regional clubs develop kids. They are spotted by Roma or Lazio. And they move on. They are not developed from tiny tots by Roma or Lazio. That's usually not how it works. There's nothing wrong with this system. When you say "development" what do you mean??? Cones and drills. You can go on coachup for that. The bigger clubs put together talent and teach them team based tactics and play. That's also how Inter Miami will work.
