Below this team it’s pretty grim. Only other really talented team is 2005. They will also end up losing a couple of strong players and will end up largely like the 2001 team. In between these groups is a barren wasteland. Below 2005 you have 2006 Girls who are decent. Then nothing. Boys side is just as bad. One decent HS team and then some U9 and U10 teams that are good. SCP have a chance if they can retain these younger players and build around them. Hope they learned their lesson after Rick K left. If they lose Nate or Roland it’s game over SCP.

Very good team. Never hear them hyping themselves, just quietly go about their business of playing quality soccer.

After you take out colleges that CFC coaches are coaching at (Sacred Heart, Wuinnipiac) it’s 2-3 players. Then it is a whole lot of Endicott, West Conn, Assumption, etc...Don’t be fooled by the hype.

Lot of kids going to Sacred Heart on these lists. CFC is good for some solid D1 programs every year which is great for CT kids. Sacred Heart is going to struggle if they don’t diversify. Not going to win much at D1 with over half your squad from CT. Look at how CFC and FSA do against out of state competition. Not competitive.

SCP needs to get some new blood pumped in. I really think they can survive but they have to restructure and build with their youth. They don’t have anyone on girls side Comparable to Nate.

SCP graduates decent girls team this year. Leaves them with virtually nothing at HS level for next year.
