That would be a real state cup, open it up to all gda and ecnl teams and then perhaps some will stfu about GotSoccer and TopDrawer rankings!

Riddle me this: If it is a "pre-requisite for entry is to participate in one of their sanctioned leagues" and GCA and ECNL are NOT in FYSA's sanctioned leagues then how can State Cup be open to ALL teams? ;)

Please read the post again. Those teams can participate in State Cup if they join one of the sanctioned leagues, even for a mini-season. GDA and ECNL are not a part of FYSA, thus their leagues are not FYSA-sanctioned and cannot participate in a FYSA tournament, so they would need to either get their leagues sanctioned or join one of the existing. Not rocket science.

ECNL would not waste their time crowning a "State" champ. There is good reason it is broken up regionally. But if they did, Alabama FC (BUSA) would be having a great run going as state champs.

ECNL is regional because there are too few teams within each state. Regional is no different than a state league. Similar number of teams, just spread out over a larger geographic area.

US Club Soccer offers the NPL as their state league rather than ECNL.

It's all the same kids kicking a ball. No one league has superiority over the other. Everyone is equally good and bad. Paying higher tuition and having a patch does not create excellence.

TBU 03 ECNL would get beat easily by Sunrise and other FYSA 03. That TBU team is not very good at all.

Pensacola didn’t get any damage. Panama City did
