Ah this is the problem. Yes I say Marcelo good. You say something bad. Why? You understand the soccer or not. Ok.

Here’s an idea white team. Go tell your coach you want to play in the Gold division for the Weston Cup. Don’t let him tell you Weston will not allow it. I want to see your scores. Please. Since you think scores are everything.

didn't understand most of this, but here is what i think. you can take a player that plays with awareness (head up, passing) at u12 and by u15 that player can develop as they grow a pretty decent attacking game. this is easy to do if the kid puts in the work and grows physically. it is much harder to take a player that plays without vision and only looks his scoring and develop that type of player into a midfielder or central defender. very hard. so what i am saying is, it is correct to work on playing out the back, playing through midfield, head-up, awareness, vision, these principles at u12, because that's the age it needs to be layered in. they can develop a rip at u16 when they are physically more developed. some players and their parents only see goals scored.

Another obvious post from an outsider looking in who probably has a friend in the club who him the result of the match and now he’s trying to stir the pot. Don’t come here taking indirect jabs at coaches to try and justify the fact that you left the club buddy. Your kid isn’t that good. Good luck to you. Us Weston parents know what we have and we’re very happy. Go be miserable somewhere else. Oh and by the way, in case you’re wondering, there’s still a girl on our ‘08 DA Team doing very well and we’re very proud of her. Sorry, she’s just better than your kid. Deal with it.

Yeah right buddy. Weston parents are the first ones on here crying when their Pre-DA kid is not offered a DA spot and it goes to a player from an outside club.

It's so sad when parents don't take responsibility for their kids development. They leave it all to Weston or any other club and then complain when they their kid doesn't move up. Sit with your kid and watch a game and show him or her the right way to play. If they need Speed and agility you can work on that, if they need technical skills you can work on that too. don't blame your team coach or your personal trainer take matters into your own hands. Kids from outside take spots because they have worked on these things.

Not one player u-11 pre orvthe da u-11 kids have an ounce of soccer iq. The u-11 da kids are fast and quick but are clueless on how to play the game. They all for the most part try to dribble the field from end to end. This isn’t just Weston this is Florida soccer. It’s bad soccer down here. It’s like watching the mls or USA national team. Run and gun baby!! Athletes with crap technical and tactical awareness. Inesta fast? Fabergas fast? I don’t know but they all have soccer Iq that’s for sure!!

Our black level team smash them as well . However at least they try to play out of the back and there being coaches to do the right things. Why either of these teams can’t connect passes is troubling at u-11. We lost our best player to another DA in the area. Can’t blame the kid he didn’t belong there. I can’t imagine the white level team even competing but conflicting styles can be troubling .

so since you know so much, who do you credit with developing your kid and why? let's hear it. stop the negative talk and let's talk something positive about coaches or trainers. who do you credit ? obviously not weston in your opinion, then who? and why or what did they do that was so important in your opinion? please share.
