Won’t let them go? 11 of his kids were offered Blue contracts and chose to stay playing for him. Know why? Cause some kids love him as a coach, even when he’s a jerk. He knows how to create a team feeling and he knows how to win. Feel free to hate him but lots of the girls would tel you he’s their favorite coach they’ve had at stars.

Knows how to win? Those 11 kids surely have had their head turned after the Stars Cup fiasco and now a 4-1 loss at the hands of the not so good blue team. What is going on with that team?

I think the regional league started today. How did the teams look?

Scorpions team looked awful against FSA and they have both Stars teams next week. Probably going to be a long season.

So you didn’t actually see the game. You just looked at the score, determined that FSA sucks, and deduced that Scorpions “looked awful” without knowing anything about how the game actually played out. Got it.

Actually the score was 5-2 and the only reason it wasn't worse is because they scored all 5 in the first half and weren't nearly as aggressive in the 2nd half. Didn't help not having a real goalie or only 2 subs on a hot day.

Other than Stars and PDA, this ECNLRL is going to be a really expensive let down. Please correct me if I’m wrong, but clubs like FSA, FC Delco, FC Bucks and World Class are struggling for numbers on their ECNLRL teams. Having to drive to NYC or Philadelphia to play teams with 11 or less players on their roster seems to defeat the purpose of this league for all involved. It’s not good for the clubs that can’t support playing in the league, and it’s not great for the clubs that are going to beat up on the weak clubs. It’s really not good for the parents that have to pay for it. IMO, all of this could be done on a local level.

Not the poster and I agree with you - a rebranding doesn't do anything to change what already was there. Prior and moving forward there will be some strong teams and some not so much. But in regards to this discussion these are early games with the youngest teams. Anyone claiming disappointment is either trolling (probable) or is dumb enough to think a few games with young teams is indicative of everything from here on out.
