Armada FC, Florida Elite FC, and Clay are here to stay. They are the three clubs that survived through the mergers, have large recreation numbers and offer higher leagues. Not sure what all the nit picking is back and forth if not to trying to justify having such highly paid executive directors. Not sure why the TS rivalry unless the directors and coaches like to hear themselves talk. None of the three clubs will gain many of the other clubs elite players at tryouts. FESA has 3,000 recreation players. Unless there are ethical type issues with budgets or leadership decisions, the clubs will continue on as they are.

FESAs numbers are vastly overstated and bloated like many other things about the club. They only use rec as puppy farm to convince them to "try-out" and "pay" for a travel elite team where they can get a cool, babysitter coach and snazzy $400 uniform package. Otherwise, they could care less about rec and sure don't like them taking up too much field space.

Also, the new guy EB, nobody outside of the boys top teams has seen this guy. I and other coaches haven’t formerly met him 1 on 1. Same promises to the coaching staff same lies same old BS. Armada just cares about boys DA and that program sucks. Watch the fallout. It’s already happening.

EB has done a town hall. And he has been available to parents that justify his time. Guy has just gotten started and needs to be able to bring in some fresh, quality new blood to the club. That takes some time but is happening. You guys can harp and moan about the past all you want. I believe they will be making moves on the girls side.

It was a mistake to roll over and let Clay have GDA such that top girls players just leave the club. That was not smart and you can blame Eric D. all you want but the Board needs to be involved in these sorts of decisions and strategies and own it.

Part of the reason is the average household income is higher than other areas in the state. The suburban parents are overly involved in their kids education and sports from an early age. FESA locations in southwest Duval/Mandarin, Oakleaf, and Palm Coast/Port Orange are very similar to the communities in Saint Johns County.

Coaches,
I am reaching out to remind all of you to wear your coaches shirts at all times while coaching your teams during games or practices. We preach to the parents that they must stay off the fields during the practices to ensure we can effectively monitor who should and should not be on the field. It makes our jobs easier monitoring that as well as reassuring the parents that you are a coach and you belong on the field. We had an incident recently where a coach was removed by a club official because they did not have a coaches shirt on. Our staff cannot easily access your information to see that you are in fact cleared through the system. We have tried ID badges in the past but that was extremely difficult to coordinate with over 200 coaches so the shirts act as an ID. If you are not wearing your Orange Coaches Shirt from now on you may be removed from the field. Please help us to ensure we provide a safe environment for all of our players. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Did the Bahmian Nationals wear orange shirts when FESA's young players were forced into close contact? Has there been some other incident at Veterans? This smells like the tip of the iceberg. We just want to know our kids our safe!

FESA coaches in Flagler and Volusia are in a lose lose situation. Identify and train up kids who can move to the higher leagues in St. John's Duval but the flow of bodies is one way. Why drive south to play state cup/region cup when you have c d and e teams right around the corner.

NOT TRUE. I've seen him at Davis and Patton (my kid's team doesn't' train at Ed Austin) during training sessions throughout the week - including boys and girls training sessions of all ages. I'm new to this site and the lies are flowing. I guess you can say anything you want when you're anonymous. Fact checking is very easy to do though.

By the way, who sees Bubb anywhere other than rarely for a top team or his orchestrated, mandatory pep rallies where he dares not take any questions? He is too busy coaching his son's USL team, pimping the Bahamian national team or new kits to the masses.

He needs to concentrate on his bottom of the league precious DA teams. They all lost to North Carolina this weekend. Even their u15 team lost 4-0.
