After much calculation including recent results, past results, amount of player pool, geographical distance to Lakewood Ranch, and of course color of team tent, the results are in! Some people have questioned the SuperComputer’s calculations of grouping in the Round of 16. Not only have you upset my computer, but it is very worried you may have one of you own. It tracked down your IP address and made sure to include that in the calculations as well!

Let me preface by saying all results are final. These are results that will in fact happen, so please don’t get upset or comment on this thread whatsoever, if so, it may change the outcome of the games and mess with the future. Don’t mess with the future. You saw what happened to Marty.

Matchup 1:
Sunrise vs. Jenson Beach

I’m not sure how Jenson was able to get off their beach all the way to Lakewood Ranch, but unfortunately for them, the Sun found a way to Rise on the West Coast. Sunrise wins easily 3-0.

Matchup 2:
Florida Fire vs. Cape Coral

A rematch for the third time this season with both winning one each, Cape recently rose to the occasion of overshadowing the Sun as well as putting out the Fire. Cape playing at a high level right now, but will come down to PK’s. Cape twists by 0-0 (4-3 PK’s).

Matchup 3:
TBU vs. Florida Rush

The word on the street is TBU will bring their ECNL girls, but USF has a Spring game that day and needed ball girls, so only a few could make it. Thanks Coach Denise. They didn’t Rush fast enough after the game which was the end of their demise. Rush wins 2-0.

Matchup 4:
West Pines vs Kendall

This was a battle of titans. When I say titans, I mean their 6ft GK’s! What some would say should have been pay-per-view, some say cage match, some say rugby match, both teams received 7 yellow cards, 2 red cards, and 1 overaged player. In a hard fought scrappy game, West Pines athleticism was too much to handle. West Pines wins 2-1.

Super Computer 2.0 - Final Four and Finals Calculations

It seems as though another thread threatened the Super Computer's integrity by trying to come up with mere predictions and guesses. These are specific formula's and algorithm's that took years to perfect. These are not guesses but actual results that have yet to happen. With that being said, the computer appreciates all the comments, positive or negative, as it will help calculate 2020's State Cup results! Here are the results that have already happened for games yet to be played:

Matchup 1:

Sunrise vs. Cape Coral

As these teams have played multiple times this season, and Sunrise has an advantage on the aggregate, Cape Coral has a special plan in store. They've hired a few parents to pose as 4th and 5th officials on the sidelines to commandeer Sunrise's coaches murse/fanny pack. Once taken, they will ransack it for clues and hidden secrets on how to beat the infamous Sunrise. After Sunrise disposes of their coach at halftime due to his secrets being lost for good, a parent takes over as coach and coaches their team to victory by a score of 2-1. Sunrise advances with a new coach!


Matchup 2:

Florida Rush vs. West Pines United

West Pines wins at almost everything, including on TS boasting their chests more than any other club, but they can't Rush to a result here (cheap pun, I know. Super Computer's humor is limited). Florida Rush given a favorable draw to get to this point, they still have a lot of bite in them. West Pines decides to expose their secret weapon once again putting their 7 foot 1 inch field player in goal shutting Rush completely out. Unable for both teams to score, the game is decided in PK's. With WPU GK, Rush is still unable to convert with WPU winning 3-0 in PK's. WPU advances.



State Cup Finals:

Sunrise vs. West Pines United

A classic match up of evil vs evil. Lex Luther vs. The Joker. Dr. Evil vs. Shooter Mcgavin. With Weston showing up to watch their future 4-5 players for next season, it's a hard fought physical match with giant vs. giant (literally). Sunrise has the technical edge as West Pines controls the athletic battle in the back. Both GK's have amazing games, but Sunrise has an unexpected surprise at halftime. Their coach shows back up, murse and all. As he implements his game plan immediately, West Pines starts to grow more confident as they finish the game out winning 1-0. West Pines wins!
