Yeah, where is the roster? The U12 and U14 teams bring 15 to EDP games. Why is this team not following the same policy?
This team will go down the tubes fast. Is EW doing it deliberately? Maybe he should hand off the team to another coach.

Maybe its possible that the Emilio doesn't like the feel that DL is taking over the club and lashing out at the team to make them look bad!!! Maybe Emilio is lashing out at the parents!!
Maybe Emilio is just trying to develop players and not as concerned over winning the EDP!!!

Maybe its possible that the Emilio doesn't like the feel that DL is taking over the club and lashing out at the team to make them look bad!!! Maybe Emilio is lashing out at the parents!!

Same parents got played again. Sad part is crazy ones won't stop even now. They'll trash players and E here, coach at games, interrupt practice to complain and such.

Be careful what you wish for. Emelio is an outstanding coach, and DL has done wonders for the club, helping guide it to the next level. We have been with Valeo almost 5 years and every year is has got better and better. Here is to the next five years.

Agreed. 8 hr drive to play 10 minutes is an important strategy in player development. You're right. We should probably bring 20 boys so everyone gets the same experience.

Entitled because these parents trash talk all others ever to cross their kids golden boots and park their behinds on the bench during games so Jimmy and Joey never have a moment to face the soccer world without their protectors telling "lesser" players to shut up and trashing them later with the kids.
Enjoy your delusion with this pair until they turn their hooks into you - read the posts about your kids errors on public display on TS.

Here's some advice.... Someone who really cares about the team (not a crazy parent - if you have any of those here) should email / talk to the coach in question about the issue with driving 8 hours to play 10 mins. Certainly anyone with a clue can see the issue with that. Ask the coach to come up with a plan as to how that won't happen again and maybe even apologize for the mistake? Hopefully the coach can step up and apologize and you can move on and acknowledge mistakes on all sides (the coach's mistake as well as the mistake of the parents to vent here and make a mockery of your team). Good Luck.

Yes we are waiting for the roster to see if the issue is resolved. It's supposed to be sent out Tues night. Believe it or not, the majority of the parents are on the same side.

Why even one parent would condone this is beyond us, but that is life. ;)
