If that's not lowering the bar I don't know what is. What are you doing going to Seattle when you can't compete in your own division. I know you'll play the equally inept ECNL teams from other regions in front of a plethora of college coaches looking to scoop up all the talent.
Almost all the U17 ECNL team is committed, so not much left to "Scoop",

The coaches of these colleges must be dumb, to think that they keep offering kids from the worst teams in ECNL before the kids on better record teams of the non- ECNL. What's up with that. How does this keep happening? Why are these coaches wasting there time? Its obvious that the talent level is better, they have winning records. Oh my.

Because as we all know, its all about the wins. Nothing else matters, right?

It's not about winning, it's about how the players do against better competition.

You can look back or you can look forward. The Breakers are merging, expanding, getting in new good coaches and growing on the North Shore and getting bigger. They are really doing well. Hard to deny it. Looking ahead it looks like FC Boston, NEFC and Stars are the three big clubs with the best teams on the girls side. Unless SS Select can keep their teams together into HS with the new Region 1 league and they could join that list.

Breakers aren't even close to having the success of NEFC and stars. They don't have 1 strong team right now.

But they are right up there with paying customers. It would seem that as a business they have developed a 'water cooler' brand that while unable to generate success on the field has that merit. Hey Suzie did you hear... That buzz is good marketing in the long run who knows they may build something out of it. It all comes down to management.

Breakers are lucky these paying customers dont know where to find the Ecnl standings.

I guess, as long as kids keep getting into the colleges of choice, because they play in a certain leagues, why wouldn't they.

Keep drinking the Kool aid. Maybe they got in because of their grades.

Breakers philosophy: We are in ECNL , we are the best. OK but you lose most of you games and to x, y and z that are not in Ecnl. Correct but they got lucky, plus college coaches only look at Ecnl even if the kids are weak soccer players. Um ok, makes sense ,why would these college coaches want to win.
