Actually UPDX is not a soft team. Inconsistent, yes. A ton of egos, yes. But they do not lack in talent.

Don't confuse the Crossfire 07's with the 05's. The Crossfire 06's struggled last year as well. Its not like WUFC and LOSC are churning out a plethora of talent to feed Crossfire anymore.

Apparently. Capitol 05 team forfeited a match last week because their coach had to leave mid-game, forcing the referee to abandon the match. All three games vs Westside today (05, 06, 07) have been rescheduled to next Sunday.

Crossfire's 07s will be good in two years, when the other clubs lose top players to the Timbers Academy, and crossfire selects for size and speed. In four they will stink again, when everyone else catches up physically.

Looking at the standings above, where exactly are those top players going to come from? I guess the whole WashT team could move to TA. TA better not be counting on the vaunted Westside and FC programs.
