But our town is very much an upper-middle income suburb. Most families can swing the higher fees. Also, it's one thing for $100 for one or two nights. That isn't going to cut it for most coaches over a time period longer than that. Even a low level coach can make $50-60/hour doing private training, even more if they're really good.
Most parents would feel much better paying money to know their kids are being developed in the correct techniques at practice. The training groups could be larger with the licensed coaches coming out and working with the kids on the curriculum in break out sessions for skill level or age. Sessions could be given to the parents on the correct philosophies of soccer development and parenting. It would seem more plausible for field management. The kids might stay involved longer when they are having progress with skills in games and not running around like wild ponies.

Every recreation kid pays $10 for an hour session. Licensed Coaches with ten kids make $100 in an hour and no weekend strings attached for rec games because teams have soccer daddy or teen coaches to play equal time and equal positions under the guidelines. The club still charges the recreation registration fee that covers games, uniform and office overhead. Invest in the young players and the club will reap the rewards as they get older and stick with the game and the club.

So $10X10 sessions = $100. Kids need a lot more than that so now the price goes up.

They get one practice a week with a professional coach and one practice with dad or mom rec coach to practice what the pro taught them.
