It only solidifies the fact that CT can compete, despite our size, if we didn't have such a watered down system. Question is, what will come of the other age groups? Will other parents look at the talent and try to get their kids to move to create the most competitive team in their respective age groups?
Seems like the coaches do a nice job but this is like managing the perfect storm. The reality is that at most ages the best talent is split between CFC, FSA and OW at various ages. Most families have a situation that works well for them and have no interest in commuting 90 minutes for soccer practice. Don't expect this again any time soon.

Just so happened that the parents of these kids are willing to drive from all over the state to be part of it. The team has a few superstars and they all happen to be unselfish on the field. The group also has ridiculous depth at every position. My kid is unfortunately a year behind but they have something pretty special there. Most of the group seems like Division 1 or bust so it will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Stinks that none of the NPL teams made the playoffs as they will be held at FSA this month.

This team is very good. However, if stars & pda didn’t go academy then you’re looking at 3rd place at the very best in this division.
Let’s see them do it again next year, then you can have open top bus parade.
