FC Salmon Creek At It Again

GU11 “C Team” coaches supposedly bailed and left 13 gears without a place to play. Parents were just notified. Funny how the biggest issues seem to stem from any age group where TE has a daughter playing *cough* coaches a team! How long can this club continue to hang on. By her washed up name alone?

Keeping Washington Timbers honest. Sometimes it takes a crook to do so.

They have 2 coaches listed on their website for that team. Both quit?

According to the email sent to parents, yes.

          What's the complaint here, exactly?

Coaches quit. Happens all the time in youth soccer.

Now if the coaches aren't being replaced and a bunch of players no longer have a team--and this wasn't announced until after tryouts are over, that would be a problem. Especially if the club has taken their money.

But "the coach of the C team is leaving" is, by itself, hardly a scandal.

            Dude!
We are seriously talking about recreational players that want to leave a glorified rec club (FCSC) and go play for a true recreational club?(pacific)

            Who cares?
The kids are recreational players playing for a recreational club.

I did hear that FCSC’s tryouts were very recreational and unorganized. They had to move fields 30 minutes before the actual tryout because fields were overbooked. I’m sure this will help with teams to sign up for an already over saturated tournament market with the salmon creek Nike Cup. Where do I sign up? Any chance my games will be moved last minute because of poor planning like your tryouts?

If they want to play rec they should've tried out for Thornz Asylum.

That is exactly what happened here.

                    Same stuff different day.

FCSC loves to hire Vantucky Timber Coach rejects.

In return FCSC best coaches move to Vantucky Timbers.

Look fo Vadim to make a move after a year.

I don't think he was accepted at any Portland clubs for that matter.

Maybe salmon creek was all he could do.

Cmon Man! A- There is nothing to bleed at Salmon Creek. They are the joke of the PNW and anyone who doesn't know that is sippin uncle Jo's cough syrup.

B- Saying Pacific got stronger is equivalent to putting whip cream on a turd

Don't you all wish you could run an entire soccer club solely for the purpose of controlling your children's playing time, teammates, development, funding, exposure and promotion and the only cost to you is to pretend like you give two sh!ts about other people's kids?

Funny how people rag on FCSC all the time. Meanwhile they are probably the smallest club in the metro Portland area yet still win state cups and regularly beat teams from bigger clubs in league / tournaments. Lot of sore losers out there.
