Not enough tried out for Thorns to post U15/U17 selections???

Last year they released rosters right after tryouts finished and they worked their way through rejections. Why not this year? Lack of defections? Quality? Inquiring people want to know.

1 year of GDA was all it took for all the smart people to figure out it's the biggest fail ever foisted on Oregon youth soccer.

They're holding them back on request from the Thornz so the Thornz have an excuse for not posting their incomplete, rec-level rosters.

The DA naysayers shall see. The triumphs DA is having are very subtle and focused on player development and bonding with leaders such as Tobin and others intermitently connected to USWNT and NWSL. Not to mention top global colleges. W-L is not important at this point and frankly never may be the singular focus. We are the CHOSEN path of success - get used to it especially if you are not even playing on ODP our 'step up' platform for non-DA.

ODP is a very inexpensive way to get to know some of the actual GDA coaches. I encourage all non-DA to give it a shot and get the visibility it takes to reach the Thorns level. Some call it the 'segway to success.'

We would much rather pay full fare and get to 'fly to nowhere' with our local club coaches and teammates. Got it! It's our choice, actually the clubs. No biggie, correct?

Daughters classmate plays JV2 and ECNL. ECNL does have "elite" talent.
