Wait, shouldn’t this already happen with senior teams? Oh right, you have to have senior teams first. Sounds like JM wasn’t the only delusional person there. The grouchy Colombian has them eating out of his hand...

If you are serious about college, you are not playing at FH.
Not exactly breaking news, of course, but someone needs to tell the powers that be at FH they need to stay in their lane. Trying to be something you are not, been there, done that.
Just be a community club that fills a need. Nothing wrong with that & there is a need for it.

Dear god, every tryout season the same thing with these people. Will do anything to not have to leave FH Blvd... even pretend to be a relevant club

You are all crazy! First, doesn’t matter what club you play for, if your kid is truly a stand out player and at least 16 and you take them to college ID camps at the colleges they are interested in then they will get noticed, if not a standout you are wasting your time unless you look at small private schools and write a check. Second, yes larger clubs get more looks because of DA and ECNL, but ultimately your kid still has to be a stand out and still needs to attend ID camps. So there are different paths that ultimately end in the same result.

Of course DA and ECNL clubs have significantly more recruits, based on the # of players that would only make sense. Add in the kool aide drinking parents. We aren’t talking about full rides here.

So it’s unfortunate that you don’t have the means to be my neighbor, but I’m enjoying my life :), you can keep writing checks to WFF.

Think the point was at every other relevant club, this new “senior player strategy” is the norm and doesn’t need to be announced. Since it’s inception, this club has been and will always be for those in FH that perceive themselves as elite. Laughable that most who live in FH think those that don’t is because they can’t... lol

Name one kid (boy or girl) who started, never left the club & finished their club career at FH & received an athletic college scholarship to play soccer anywhere?
                        I will wait!

See post #2... for anyone to get a scholarship and finish at FH you have to have senior teams. FH does not have any... Chargers swooped in a few years back to happily take the FH money to align some players but they play under Chargers flag/influence.... for whatever that is worth

I won’t post names, but yes there have been a few girls. Playing as HFC Chargers is still Fishhawk regardless. But ultimately that wasn’t the point of the post. Your kid has to be a stand out regardless of where they play. You think the players at WFF are getting full rides? Keep writing those checks.
