They laugh when they watch your coach train your child.

They laugh when your child's team punts the ball 20 times a game.
They laugh when your coach focuses on fitness more then technique.
They laugh when your coach has them in exercises where they stand in lines getting one Rep every two minutes.
They laughed at us just three years ago when we played 11v11 at U11.
They laugh at us because we call offsides at young ages.
They laugh at us because we make kids retake throw ins instead of just letting the ball play keeping lots of roll time with the ball.
They laugh at us because we travel all over the country to play games when you can go 20 minutes away to play a friendly against an older team if needed.

Experienced former player/current parent checking in: not a word to disagree with in the post you're referring to.

Currently in Oregon most club coaches have master's degree in the 'Pay to Play' paradigm with post grad work in the highly profitable ancillary private training methods. No certified teaching or skill required other than the Square app connected to their cell phone. The few dinosaurs from the 70's & 80's never had the chance to learn about the 'pay to play' millennial $$ model.

The rest of the football world isn't laughing at us, they are dying of laughter, since so many of their reject wanna be coaches (ex pats) are in on the american con job called the pay to play model.

                    Nope it is just one.

The original post and the next for posts about how "spot on" the original post is are all the same IP address.

Since we are on the topic of laughing, the thing that is comical is this is just a game and you are taking this way too seriously.

Who cares if the kids boot the ball and who cares if they play 11 vs. 11. I have traveled the world and have seen kids play pick up games of 20 v. 20.

What is the end result for most of these kids?

Did you seriously just advocate for being trash on purpose?

Soccer is just a game. It's okay to try and be good at games, particulayly if it's the most important game in the world.

4 more kids quit. 3 more pondering it.

When will the TA wake up?

There is no question that the TA clubs think the Timbers academy is a joke based on the lack of attention and quality of coaches.

I can tell you that coaches are a straight up joke and couldn't even coach their way out of a box in club. Hasson and miller have no clue.

                              Quit TA?

                              Which ones?

It's so funny that the TA coaches have finally been discovered. Train with Tracy, get a spot on the team. It's as simple as that.
