No dog in the fight, but the people defending these entitled kids and their self-serving parents who encouraged their kids to break the rules are absolutely delusional. Kids are lucky they didn't get tossed from the league for the season...if GDA weren't so desperate for #s in the NE, they probably would have and GDA would've been justified in doing so.
The league OFFERS A FREAKING LOOPHOLE!!! They give these entitled brats a way to play HS AND GDA so their mommies & daddies can post their little Newsday write-ups on facebook and then brag that they play GDA...join the GDA roster once HS season ends, simple. But even that isn't good enough? Gimme an effing break!

Originally posted by Unregistered View Post^ this guy. He's right. The league has a loophole and it seems plenty of clubs are using the loophole legally. Fury decided to break the cardinal rule which is no matter via the loophole or a legal waiver, you cannot do both at once. They gave a wink wink because they couldn't fill rosters with enough decent players to even play games in the fall.

Don't join it if you don't like it.
Simple.
