Some poster did not seem to differentiate between "brown nosing" and advertising.

Duh. Pay for that side training and complain about water?

Please stop discussing this. My player's club is under the impression that their athletes are actually capable of filling, carrying and drinking their own water and I don't want them to get any dumb ideas.

Now that Alby is out, NYCFC is out, Empire is out, Cedar Stars Bergen is only the two youngest age groups, SSS just announced they will only field the 2 youngest age groups...that leaves the 03’s and 02/01’s with 5 teams. NYSC, Fury, Oakwood Seacoast and NEFC. Will my daughter be playing those four clubs over and over again? That’s a lot of travel for a LI kid

They'll prolly give older groups back to LISC, a terrible move imo-the 03s are struggling, dead last in the lowest division of EDP. I don't think 4-5 players from the dreadful Alby 03s is gonna help.

Sorry, and with little due respect, ALBY and Empire getting the boot, is not much of a loss, but NYCFC leaving is devastating...say what you will about Kaz and the gang, they fielded competitive teams, even the lousy oldest team had talent.

LISC plays in mid Atlantic conference so that would not impact the NE travel situation.

Use your head...NE losing 3 clubs, adding 1/2 of one with SSS. Mid-Atlantic adding another CSA and STA, LISC will go back to NE.

Do your players and parents complain about everything? Poor people say nothing, rich people cry complain, bitch and moan. They are upset that their money cant make their kid more talented. Penn State or bust

Will more clubs announce they are leaving DA after San Diego?

In other words, less travel to play more craP teams.

Magic 8 Ball says "Doubtful." Seems those departing already announced and the rumor mill isn't churning much. Then again, no one foresaw Slammers pulling out last year.

What did you expect? The USSF is going to make the GDA work. The USNT is under the USSF. Duh!! You can listen to all the ECNL propaganda if you want. The GDA is just completing it's SECOND year. It will be the place where the majority of the best players are eventually. It will take a number of years, but it will happen.
