I marvel at the ability of clubs to sell pipe dreams.
There will be no Mass youth, h/s or college soccer in 2020.
What it should be highlighting is the excessive costs of both youth and professional sports. Maybe we should be paying the grocery clerk or truck driver $22 million a year, as they are way more important than any athlete

ECNL will pick who they need both in terms of clubs and players and the rest will play DPL because of too much pride of playing NPL. Now they will pay DA price to play in a league that is less than NPL.

But, she made friends and was taught life experiences (by her coach at Stars)😉😉😉

Activity already picked up. That didn't take long.

Just a trickle so far, but the realization that you don't need to get to an ECNL club to get what you are looking for competition-wise already has kids' looking to come back.

Those not in top clubs are going to see some movement (based on what my daughter has seen so far with news literally just breaking on this).

competition-wise has always been second and college recruitment first. no direct path to youth/women's national teams and a second rate league won't keep players. Players want a competitive league but they want to be seen by college coaches. ECNL has that on lock now.
