    The big question

What happens to the older girls who are looking to to get scouted? If Penn Fusion isn't in ECNL, do kids begin to leave to clubs that can provide that opportunity?

Penn fusion will start taking a hit this year with a lack of a league and Bucks and Delco will get all the younger players as they get stronger

Bottom line - PF is a well run club with a great reputation, good coaches and a proven track record with college placements. They will do well in whatever league they choose. Girls stayed away from PF in the past bc the no high school rule. Whatever league they go to will allow high school ball. PF won’t be losing any kids and in fact will pick up some kids.

Top Hat DPL plays the same team 5 times a year. Sounds great.

Not all those DA teams will come over.
How will a full club schedule and HS schedule work in the Fall? Training 8 x per week?
              I would jump ship.

Sounds like it is going to be a great option for Penn Fusion.

And then the MLS league should be option down road too.

This DPL league will struggle with putting eyes on kids. ECNL is growing again, and is now the highest level league in the nation...again. It will be tough road for PF going forward.

Yeah...really tough road for PF (Eye roll). They will do quite well where ever they land. Top programs like their development/trainings and style of play. They always look out for their members.

No it won’t be - people are happy at Penn Fusion - nobody is going to leave a quality program to go to the two bottom dweller ECNL clubs like Bucks and Delco. You would have to be out of your mind to leave PF for either of those two clubs - just bc they are ECNL. The colleges commitments at both bucks and Delco are lacking so why would anyone leave PF to go to those two clubs. We will stay right where we are - and happily so!

College commitments at FC Delco (Continental) have been strong over the past five years, so not sure what you are talking about. Don't know about Bucks, but the FC Delco players are doing well. Either way, things come in waves. For years FC Delco, PA Strikers and FC Bucks were the top girls clubs, then Penn Fusion came to be, but clubs come and go, have good times and bad. If the DPL is a lower level, kids will leave PF. If the college exposure is lacking, and there is no doubt the DPL events won't be as good as the ECNL, then other clubs will have a chance to take over. PF not getting back into the ECNL is a major blow. PF won't go away, but it will not be a draw for players that it once was and players will have far more options now.
