Figure a knucklehead would open their mouth without doing some homework. Ask what happened on 9/3 this year. GA played with Staples like a town travel team. You will never see Staples play a prep team in preseason again.

It plays both. It’s conference is the FAA (day schools) but it’s non-conference schedule is all boarding schools.

GA, Porters, Choate, Loomis(maybe not this past year)...others like Taft and Westminster would be super competitive with the Publics best.

Academically too, with the exceptional st blows and Southington. I’m talking GA that is. Hopkins not so much academically, but soccer wise, by 3 or 4 depending when the first substitution is made

Another clueless parent. Greenwich Academy made Staples look silly preseason. They beat Tabor (which won the NEPSAC the year prior), that team is led by arguably the best player (Cat B) in NE not not named AS from Thayer (another prep). Tabor has 7-8 D1 kids from senior and junior class alone. Stop dreaming FCIAC and CCC pop.

GA isn't prep. Nearly all independents would be readily beaten by top of the table L schools, let alone LL. Prep schools are their own animal. No one plays publics except in pre season scrimmage.

Ridgefield couldn’t get by Staples, G’bury and Southington.
Not one is a sniff of a Tabor team. GA favored by 1.0 -1.5.
