    Private school choices

We are in process of choosing private school for our daughter to attend. She wants to continue to play soccer. We are looking at Sacred Heart, Green Farm, St Lukes and Hopkins. Do any parents have advice on soccer programs at these schools?

I don't think soccer should be your make or break decision here. They're all about the same. Hopkins has a significantly better educational reputation.

Presumably this is your oldest child. Those are all fine schools. Don’t let soccer factor into the decision. She can play on any of those teams and have a good experience. It’s not going to factor into her overall soccer development. Clubs are where players develop and are the platform for college if that’s her goal.

Private schools typically have smaller rosters and the success of the team largely depends on how many strong club players choose to attend.

Focus on the schools and leave soccer out of it entirely

            Checkout Greenwich Academy. Best coach

Goes without saying - pick the best academic fit for her. The quality of soccer at any of those schools is mediocre at best. If she hopes to play in college where she plays club is what matters, not HS (public or private).

Correct on education. The soccer is better than most public school soccer. Club is the path to college soccer for sure. Greenwich Academy is the best soccer in that area, much better than the public school soccer.

They’d lose by 5 to Ridgefield or Staples

Figure a knucklehead would open their mouth without doing some homework. Ask what happened on 9/3 this year. GA played with Staples like a town travel team. You will never see Staples play a prep team in preseason again.
