Bitter parents are so transparent. Just be happy with whatever club your child is with and get on with it.

big and small both have their good and bad points- but to not allow kids to play at whatever level seems short sighted - CFC is the HOME Depot of soccer clubs in this state- they will always be there but your kid may not get the attention they need whereas at a smaller club you will get the attention but maybe not the vast expanse of opportunity the big clubs can offer- both have their bad points as well
for the truly gifted player it doesnt matter- they will get noticed
for the poor player it doesnt matter as well -
the real issue is for the good player- but not at the club level- they will get seen at either club
its parents who think because you are good the ECNL patch will propel you to the promised land- the patch will get you seen for sure but are you good enough to be noticed against the gifted
play at your level and strive to move up and most of all enjoy the ride - i have loved the journey and will miss it when it ends
It’s like Mercedes. You’re paying for the brand name even though it might not be much better than a good American car. But maybe the money you save staying with a smaller club will offset what you will lose in scholarship money. More than one way to skin a cat.

Mickey really messed that up. The DA was not happy with both clubs and made them merge. Still no facility and little success.

College coaches know they’ve got to shell out the money.

Biggest issue with a Mercedes - the repair bills are 3x that of a Toyota. In the end you get what you pay for. At BS you're now paying for a less prestigious brand and poor coaching.

1/2 as many D1 programs on the men's side as there are on women's...A lot of the Power 5 programs SEC and Big 12 don't have men's soccer

Like all other female sports - no one really cares about girls soccer. It’s boring to watch and a much slower and less physical pace than men’s soccer. Title IX is the only reason it exists, otherwise, there wouldn’t be enough room on the cheerleading squad to accommodate the bigger girls who would compete for the base of the pyramid.
