You wish you could attract this level of competition. Is it true Armada have folded the pathetic attempts of the tournaments they tried and failed to run.
Ok, I have the day off and some extra time, so let’s have a little fun here friends! I have done the legwork below, but here are the links to the last Armada and FESA events in case anyone wants to check me for accuracy (something my friend from FESA doesn’t understand):

        Fact #1:
The Armada Invitational was ONLY for teams U11 to U15, while the FESA “Showcase” was for teams U9 to U19. Also, this was ONLY the second year for the Armada invite on the boys side and the first year for the girls. Not sure how long the FESA scrimmages, I mean showcase has been going on.

        Armada Invite - Boys- 88 Girls- 17 Total- 105
        FESA showcase - Boys- 100 Girls- 37 Total- 137

        Fact #3:
        % of home club teams...
Armada invite- Boys- 10 Armada teams = 11.36% Armada
        Girls- 8 Armada teams = 47% Armada

FESA Showcase- Boys- 67 FESA teams = 67% FESA
        Girls- 29 FESA teams = 78.37% FESA

He quit because he had to work unlike working in a college environment. College coaches don’t realize how much time is involved in youth level soccer. He got lucky and was able to get back in and life will be sweet again.
