You select one age group - look at others. For example, U15 boys

U14G 4, U15G only 4 teams, 3 clubs, U16G - 3 FESA, 1 Clay, 1 GSA, 2 Armada, U19G - 2 Clay, 2 FESA, 1 AIY, 1 GA team.

All that equates to the NFYSL

FYSA requires your roster to have your coach printed on the roster. US Club only requires the coach to have a pass from US Club that shows he/she is a registered coach in your club. Anyone with a coach's US Club pass in a club can coach any US Club team.

US Club is a firm believer in letting the kids play - they don't restrict clubs to be no more than 15 miles apart...if the club can support itself, you can go be at the same fields as another club.

US Club gives you many ways to get to the National Cup - whether it be through the state competition, the regional competition, or league competition.

I could go on, but I don't feel like it.

-- The 15 mile rule has been addressed at multiple AGMs and votes have been held to remove it but the CLUBS, not FYSA, won't vote to eliminate it. They are only worried about protecting their piece of the pie.

-- The Florida Cup is one and done. At least you get 3 game with Presidents and State Cup. Both ways to go National.

Neither permits coaches from another club. However, for US Club you don't have to have the coach listed on a piece of paper in order for him/her to coach. FYSA you have to have them on the roster or they cannot coach.

Florida Cup - one and done for $295. If you win you go straight to nationals. Florida State Cup - three and done for $900. If you win you go to regionals. If you win that you go to nationals.

Why would you not want to weed out the weaker comp thru regionals instead of paying for all that travel to have no competition?
