One of those teams applied in U14 girls finished last in USA league last year.

Could be a smart move on the part of the club. Instead of waiting to see what comes out before applying, apply now so you can tell parents/players that you have applied to play in FSPL. Good selling point. It may result in better players coming out. If the talent doesn't show and your team ends up not being good enough then pull your application.

Why is Tampa Lady Rangers applied to all FSPL age groups but one? They were bottom of the standings in most. Its probably more beneficial to their development to be in a league where they can be mid-table instead of losing all games by blow-outs.

Why apply to this league and take a spot away from a team that may have a better chance to compete. Its irresponsible on the part of the Rangers management.

They have TWO teams that applied to U17, their 99/00 team (makes sense) and the 01/02 (which makes NO f'n sense). Playing up 2 years? That team is ranked 40th in its own age group and didn't make the finals of either Champions Cup or the Bazooka tournament, how would they fare playing up 2 years?

i'm guessing this is a misfire by gotsoccer shuffling teams all over the place with birth year switch?
the listings are almost meaningless right now since most 99/00 teams from 15/16 will need to figure out if they are going to stay together and play u18 or split up and let the 00's play u17.

Troll. Everything changes this year for everyone. The team is made up of half of the team that played U15 this year as that team was split down the middle with age groupings. They also picked up a lot of new very strong players. Coach is very good. Expect to see the ACYS 01's be one of the better teams in the state this year.

FYI 01 is U16 next season 02 is U15 so who is the f-tard now. 01/02 can only play at those ages not U17 maybe you should write about what you know which by your post is nothing

What is your deal.....obviously a mistake since the team 00/01 is sitting in U16 for applied list and that should be the one that is U17 as they should because of mandate.....no one is going to stick a 01 or 02 playing U17...a little comment sense man.

FYSA originally distributed info that said teams would follow the older age. So an 01/02 would be U16. If teams could decide, then 00/01 would have the option to play U16 or U17. But the 00 players would only be able to play U17.

the email actually said that teams have been moved to the appropriate age group of the teams oldest player according to the CURRENT roster.. If the team changes and decides to stay at the assigned age group, that is fine. If they change the roster to reflect the younger age group ONLY, then the club or manager needs to go in to gotsoccer and make the appropriate changes. So many teams will be moving age groups again once tryouts are finished, and the team roster is set. Everything is in flux right now.
