GPS game was tied 1-1. Then OT, 2-2. GPS lost in PK's.
Last year, GPS handily beat PacNW. A full squad of XFire ECNL 03's got pummeled at Surf by this team.
GPS is doing pretty good considering all the changes.

Gps 03s are doing great. None of the paths in Oregon, including gps, are all that great but I think the good teams that stay together end up with one of the best paths possible in Oregon. It’s rare and good to be able to be masters of your own destiny. The haters just want you to break up so that you can stop beating them and either join them in Ecnl/Gda or get out of their way in OYSA. Keep in mind that girls are leaving Gda and Ecnl teams to go back to their old oysa teams because the grass on the other side of the fence isn’t as green as they’d like you to think.

Perhaps we should talk about cu Ecnl who have literally done nothing. Spent 10k a year to end up having to cold call players because the coach is terrible and tried to fool everyone into thinking Ecnl is the best place when if youconsider the state of their older teams it's a complete failure.

But really, let's all wait and see what CU has accomplished....

And where did they get in the 5th tier USYS "National" league? Nowhere. Well, actually 12th place overall so far with 3 games to go - 2 against teams that are MUCH better than GPS. Still, USYS National league is not even as good as GDA, which isn't even close to ECNL level.

Usy national league is 10x better than the pathetic schedule the oregon Ecnl and thorns DA are playing. Just look at the terrible teams in both those leagues. Oh they didn't have to beat anyone to play in it which says a lot.

Ecnl Oregon teams don't even get to play good teams anymore, they all went to the DA and even when they weren't the Oregon were and still doormats.

I don't think anyone will argue that the DA is a joke currently.

PAC NW beat cu Ecnl this year 6-2.

They are good but then again, CU Ecnl tied Eastside OySa right after that so I would put cu and Eastside as about the same quality.

***c 02s must be the best team in the northwest. They are an impressive team from Washington that gets to play in Oregon and will represent Oregon yet again at Regionals. Are there any other states that send a neighboring state’s team to represent them at Regionals? When ***c plays in tournaments shouldn’t they have to say they are from Oregon? They play in our leagues and state cup, shouldn’t we get some credit for them being an Oregon team doing well out of state?

If Salmon Creek 03s can win State Cup like they won league, then they will be a 2nd Washington team representing the state of Oregon at State Cup. Thank goodness Gps Oregon might swoop in to steal at least one title for the home state.
