Bayside's '02 girls made it to the semi finals of the super group- Losing 1-0 in the semi-finals. The '03 girls won 2 and lost 1 also in the super group. Not a bad showing from little rhody.

What happened to their older girls teams? Did they not participate after winning RI State Cups?

NPL Events have become watered down. Many quality teams don't go. They might have played at NPL League championships, or ECNL championships or even Northeast NPL championships so many high level teams aren't at NPL Cup. A far cry from US Youth Regionals and National or ECNL championship.
This Bayside 02 team came in 7th of 9 teams in its New England NPL. Try to come in top three before coming on here and bragging. And the 03 team came in 7th of 10 spots in New England NPL. Bayside can't compete with quality clubs in their New England region. Ownership is lazy and out for the just the money.

Not my post, but the person was correct. How can a tournament that automatically qualifies RI, NH and ME State Cup winners be considered a national championship? Running it just after the NPL championships many teams skip it so the best teams aren't there. Maybe it's a nice soccer parent vacation but it's hard to say it's a top tournament

Original poster bragged about 02 and 03 Bayside team coming in 4th or winning some games.
Breakers/NEFC 03s won the National Cup. For you Bayside kool aid drinkers that's 1st place not 4th. And the Breaker/NEFC team has at least 3 Rhode Islanders. The best players don't even look at Bayside as an option. Bayside is a tired club with an owner just looking to take your money. Bayside can't compete outside RI.

Glad your daughter is one of the 3 Rhody on that national champ team. They deserve all of their accomplishment. Comparing Bayside to NEFC is like comparing NEFC to PDA. As a super club you have not accomplished anything yet.
