Here is the problem. This group he has is based around his son. He has coached this group of his son's friends forever. He has let go, not supported, other players with as much or more potential. Why? Maybe because they were not in his son's circle of friends? Or maybe a threat to his son? Hard to say.
This is the cart he has hitched his horse to. Let's see how it plays out.

Zeke's kid should have been cut way back at u12 unfortunately a lot of extremely talented kids were cut because of him. Even when he wasn't coaching these kids he was still on the bench, riding to games with the coach and pretty much everything else he could do to keep his kid and all his friends together. I don't think we have to worry about him winning a championship knowing his coaching abilities. Then he can head back over to fsa and get back on his knees so DK doesn't cut his kid

However, it has turned out to be that way. There has been 5 years of nepotism on his part with one more to go. Now how the school, town, AD, and parents tolerated this is beyond me. Especially considering he can’t deliver acceptable results. I view anything less then a state title a failure.

As far as Hall is concerned, wouldn't say a narrow one goal loss to the best team in the state so far is choking, although their record historically against Glastonbury is not good at all and this result now adds to it. Hall still played them closer than anyone else this season (Wethersfield took a lead on GHS yesterday as well but then conceded five and lost 5-2!)
