Originally posted by Unregistered View PostDA and ECNL are very good leagues with a purpose which is to allow the girls to play under very competitive scenarios. It won't get better than both these options. In each league and specifically every conference the level of a play from top to bottom varies. Some conferences have problems which is why some teams like Top Hat have problems playing some SF teams. That being said I have two points: 1) Coaches are focused on winning 1st not developing 18+ kids. 2) The proper way to play soccer is to play by the rules and not a style that you think is "good soccer". Not all teams play one way! We played DA and now ECNL, trust me DA is not the "end all be all"

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostJH is teaching kickball. Kickball can be corrected in one practice by telling the defense to pass it instead of booting it (one week of practices at most). These aren’t 10 year olds. That is the simplest correction to make. If he wanted to fix it, he would have in the last two months. If you think JH is special, ask in the Georgia forums what they think of him. And two months is plenty to teach basic offensive strategy instead of 1v1.

Best to hope for an injury free high school season at best.

So how’s it going? King James still there? I guess after this coming weekend the honeymoon will be over. Kickball for all.
