its the last week of the season -it will shift a lot, as a lot of these teams have to play this week

Which coaches voted on these rankings? I personally feel that schools like St. Joes should be in their own division \ class and not in the same division \ class as public high schools that have a limited pool of players they can pull from.

As for the voting, half of the voters have probably only seen 4 of the 10 teams play.

Big Game? Ok, get it two undefeated teams. Might be the toughest game for both teams this year. Both teams could have lost already but pulled games out. The winner will probably get the number 1 seed in LL if they win out as the FCIAC teams all have to play one another and will have loses or ties and drop. Rankings based solely on records. Spoke to a parent the other night and could not agree more on how bad soccer has gotten at the high school level. Down right hard to watch. 99 percent is get the ball to the fastest kid. May not be the best kid just the fastest. Coaches not teaching anything. What is more entertaining is watching the rents on the sidelines trying to coach their kids from the stands. Worth the price of admission for that.

Both teams play close to the same schedule with the exception of Intra Division games. G has Farmington, Simsbury, and Avon. Southington has Hall, Conard, Northwest. Otherwise, they have played a very similar schedule. Unless you know something specific, I'd like to know who "both teams could have lost already" to?

This locks in an FCIAC champ in LL. Down year in Glastonbury. Oakwood academy taking its toll. There are starters there that wouldn’t see the field of some of these kids didn’t bypass high school

Thats a bit much but Glastonbury is feeling the academy experiment. You have a few kids chasing it at the academy that would be tremendous high school players. D3 or mid major D1 kids but that’s huge in HS soccer. A mid major D1 recruit typically dominates a high a school match.
