He has a point about the coach selection process. The Federation is a joke it really is.
That said, Berhalter isn't the problem YET in my opinion. It doesn't matter what formation you run or what style you want to play. The US players were incapable of doing even the basics right. Most of them didn't seem to understand the situation they were in.
Pulisic charging into three players, through balls to the other team, first touches that lose the ball all to frequently, etc...
Bottom line is if the players on the field are unwilling to do the basics right they have no chance at winning regardless of how the coach wants them to play.
