    FL NPL--Schedule?

New to this league. When does the schedule come out? Overall thoughts on the level of play for U16 boys.

    #2
Florida NPL is about the third or fourth best league in Florida, behind DA and ECNL. The overall quality is not great however there are a few small exceptions in certain teams. Normally any team that gets at least 3rd place is considered decent and may compete with some of the teams that are in ECNL. That of course in terms of talent, because ECNL and NPL teams from the same state very rarely play each other. Since you are asking about the u16 age group I am going to assume that you are talking about the upcoming 04's. This particular age group is poor however the GPS West team is actually very good. Hope this helps!

Ok. You are a jerk who actually think DA or ENCL his actually going to lead to anything on the Pro level.
All most people want to know is when will various leagues will be posted so plans can be made.

Most USMNT and U.S. pros came through DA. *** are you talking about? You probably never heard of Christian Pulisic.

Here we go again, another delusional parent who doesn't know his facts. Pulisic played 1 year in his local DA that's it. the rest the time he played regular club, but played up 2 years to challenge his skill sets. Most pro's didn't come through the DA that's a false misnomer as well. The only DA's worth a crap our certain MLS DA's. The rest are garbage.

Pulisic played a year of DA and moved to Europe.

That would seem like a legitimate route to the pros.

If your kid is good enough move to a country where more than nutty ass florida parents on anonymous message boards give a **** about soccer!

How was I a jerk? I was honestly speaking the truth. And yeah we might be in ECNL but we were in NPL for 3 years. It was a great league at one point but not anymore. Its still solid though if all else fails.

If we have to travel in two weeks it would be nice to know now.

US Club usually has it more together than US Soccer, but FSPL Schedules are already out. Come on US Club. Can’t we at least get play dates and accepted teams/brackets for FPL and NPL?

DOC's had play dates and opponents back at the beginning of June. Times and fields were supposed to be entered by July 11th, but some clubs still haven't done their part.
