0-3 in the “showcase” bracket is pretty bad. 1-2 in the Champions flight against best teams in country is respectable. Throw in the 17s 2-1 showing and CFC was 3-3 in Champions. Not too shabby.

Not the poster but the teams did fine against some good competition in the top bracket. The one FSA showcase team couldn't eek out a win against weaker competition like itself. That is all. Meh. Just like the rest of CT soccer.

Could we stop with the “top 10 in the country” bit? Every year that team has finished second in its pool and didn’t advance to knockout play. Impressive, and arguably “top 16,” but not “top 10.”

OW playoff teams went 1-3-2. They got into playoffs because the NE GDA sucks. The U14s went 1-0-2 in the showcase. Several OW players are leaving next year. A real national powerhouse for sure.
