Oregon's club dilution and parity is sickening. Exposing below average Oregon players doesn't change their outcomes, they still end up at George Fox.

These D1 mid level & bottom teams have to dig deeper into the countries talent pool. Oregon's pond is quite shallow. It's like saying low unemployment is due to a highly skilled force. Which is hardly the case, we need low wage laborers more than ever, just like women's college soccer.

Last Years Flavor
ENCL nationally is becoming second tier to the DA, just a fact.
Oregon has a funny dynamic. We have a successful,if not the most successful) MLS and Woman's professional franchise in the USA. Sellout crowds profitable, MLS and woman's champions.
But this does not translate to a top tier youth development system. It never has. The state has produced some pro players but youth team accomplishments are few and far between compared to our MLS neighbors north, south and east of us.
For youth player advancement it might be better to play in second tier programs like the ECNL or USYS to attrack the NAIA, NJCC or lowered end D1 and D2 programs like Oregon where they are best suited to play.
I would imagine at the US Soccer DA showcase this weekend top D1 coaches are not going to flocking to watch the Timbers DA based on their record.

Elite girls across the country reject the DA rules cutting them out of high school.
