This isn't a corporate job that requires 30+ hours of meetings with office staff week in and week out. You're supposed to be out training and scouting players. Given the sh*t show that is USSF (like someone pointed out) no one really good wanted to move. Not worth it. So they took someone who would move.
    All based on opinions.

Funny, remoteness of work has a sweet spot in the middle. You don't want the lowest end people working remote, but anytime there's a major corporate hire they move to corporate.

A coach will move up the ladder if he has successful teams, not if he attends more meetings. This isn't a corporation - well it is, but it shouldn't be. That's part of the problem. The guy running it is an ex investment banker who never even played the game. They've no clue what they're doing.

Agree. All the answers are right here.

It's free access to the site, no sign-ups or nothin'. I don't understand why they are coming here first.

^^^McBride named GM of USMNT. Don’t recall the national teams having general managers in the past. It mentions his role as responsible for identification and working with clubs. Is this because of the large number of DA clubs?

So we are now accepting B licensing to get to the top?

                Probably an honorary license.
