Hahaha! AC is the bottom of the bottom league! CFC boys are actually decent. Not OW, but comparable to FSA now.

Comparable to FSA in which age group Mr Delusional!
FSA owns CFC on the boys side at EVERY age group.

AC has some good EDP level teams. CFC isn't good but in a higher league that has much more costly travel vs EDP. Call the clubs and ask if your son can attend a practice. Dont go to either if he sees to be struggling.

Compare college commits. Then go to academy.

Do you think TS trash talk works? If it did every CT club would be out of business. AC has been around 5-6 years and keeps growing. Others are shrinking. The market takes care of it, not clubs bashing each other anonymously

Neutral here...CFC is best club in the state....for girls. Boys program is pretty mediocre. They are nowhere near FSA at any age group on the boys side. They do play in the same ECNL league so the travel and cost is equal to FSA. If you are in that geographic area you are far better off going to AC Connecticut. Very good, young club playing quality competition in EDP. If not make the trip to FSA or Oakwood. Stay away from CFC Boys!! They are not worth the time or money.

we have had experience with both clubs.

CFCU has better coaching mostly college coaches. Good college viability through Boys ECNL. Lots of travel involved. Mid to lower table club in NE ECNL but strong competition. Has indoor and outdoor facility. Only go for CFCU

AC CT. Coaching is okay mostly high school coaches. Travel is better. Program on rise. But quality varies by team. Club Teammates will be high school competitors which is always fun. No home facility plays outdoor in Danbury or Brookfield. Has indoor facility in Newtown.

OPs player is 7th grade and he didn't mention a college path. If player isn't sure or maybe isn't ready for ECNL, AC could be a good stepping stone for that age. ECNL is definitely a bigger time and $ commitment

Except CFC outdoor field doesn’t have lights which is ridiculous as ow and fsa both train outdoors at night al year long

Sounds like a bad business move to have a turf field with no lights. I’d love to see that business plan........ we can only use the field 50% of the time because we have no lights. It’s like buying a car with three wheels

Wouldn't it be more like buying a car without headlights?
